Nanosafe Solutions: Women Led Startup Emerges As Independent Trailblazer

On the ocassion of National Startup Day, Nanosafe Solutions Pvt Ltd has won the Independent Trailblazer Award at the National Startup Awards 2023. Founded duringt the pandemic by Dr. Anasuya Roy, Nanosafe Solutions is a ‘commercialisation-first’ material science start-up, building indigenous and sustainable material science technologies & products.

Nanosafe Solutions has a patented antimicrobial technology based on active copper with wide spectrum action against all types of microbes. The technology is extremely safe as it utilises micronutrient copper and has 99.99% antimicrobial activity. The technology has been commercially adopted in water tanks, and other water contact applications.

Despite having a family and other responsibilities, Anasuya has taken her startup to great heights of success, supplying products and solutions centred on their patented active copper-based antimicrobial technology to several leading corporates and consumers all over the country.
