This achievement represents one of the most significant advancements among the top 20 nations worldwide. India also secured third place in Asia, surpassing South Korea and Japan, while retaining its dominance as South Asia’s undisputed leader with a total score nearly 14 times that of Pakistan.

  3. Mumbai (20th globally): Surges five places to join the global top 20. Mumbai shines in Edtech and Agtech, making the biggest leap among Indian cities.
  4. Hyderabad: Replaces Pune as India’s fourth-ranked startup hub, with strong positions in Aerospace (5th in Asia) and Agtech (9th in Asia).
  5. Pune: Although it slipped to fifth nationally, Pune remains a vital player in India’s tech-driven ecosystem.
  6. Chennai: Recognized for its strength in Aerospace (6th in Asia) and Agtech (5th in Asia).
  7. Ahmedabad: Climbs to seventh place, surpassing Jaipur and highlighting its growing entrepreneurial influence.
  8. Jaipur: Retains its top 10 status, although it fell one rank due to Ahmedabad’s rise.
  9. Kolkata: Continues to grow as a regional innovation hub, contributing to multiple sectors.
