T-Hub, India's leading innovation ecosystem, has announced a strategic partnership with Next Bharat Ventures, a Suzuki Initiative. This collaboration signifies T-Hub's commitment to supporting Next Bharat Ventures, Suzuki Motor Corporation’s debut fund in India, aimed at nurturing and empowering entrepreneurs dedicated to creating value in rural India.
Amplifying Impact through Strategic Collaboration
Leveraging its extensive network and expertise, T-Hub will significantly enhance the reach and impact of Next Bharat Ventures' initiatives. This partnership will focus on three key areas:
Strengthening the Next Bharat Residency Program: Joint events, workshops, and mentorship will be conducted to support entrepreneurs.
Equipping Entrepreneurs with Leadership Skills: Tailored programs will help entrepreneurs thrive in the rural Indian market.
Supporting Startups from Tier II and III Cities: This initiative aims to foster a more inclusive innovation ecosystem.
Launch of Next Bharat Residency Program
Next Bharat Ventures is set to launch a 4-month immersive residency program for early-stage entrepreneurs focused on impacting rural and informal sectors in India. Applications are open until July 31, 2024, with the program commencing on October 14, 2024. The inclusive application process allows submissions via WhatsApp, ensuring broad participation. Selected startups will benefit from extensive mentorship sessions led by industry leaders and receive equity investments ranging from INR 1 Cr to INR 5 Cr.
Previous Collaborations and Future Ambitions
Previously, T-Hub supported the Suzuki Innovation Centre, a greenfield initiative of Suzuki Japan, now incorporated into Next Bharat Ventures. Mahankali Srinivas Rao (MSR), CEO of T-Hub, emphasized the partnership's broader goals: “Through our collaboration with Next Bharat Ventures - A Suzuki Initiative, we aim to address broad challenges in India, beyond mobility. This partnership will empower Indian entrepreneurs to scale globally, leveraging technology and design synergies.”

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Mr. Vipul Nath Jindal, Managing Director & CEO of Next Bharat Ventures, and representatives from Suzuki Motor Corporation, including Mr. Ronit Kumar and Ms. Prathyusha Thammineni. Key figures from T-Hub, such as Mr. Srinivas Rao Mahankali, Mr. Sujit Jagirdar, Mr. Avinash Kedari, and Mr. Sushovan Chatterjee, were also present.
