Funding Alert: Genefitletics Raises Pre-Seed Funding

Genefitletics, a healthtech startup company, has raised an undisclosed amount in pre-seed funding from a group of angels. The Direct-to-Consumer Microbiome Company pioneers the application of microbial technologies to save human health. The company's pre-money valuation is INR 7.5 crore. Genefitletics plans to use the funds to develop a suite of oral microbiome and human genes expression tests, launch its own brand of precision biotics, and further develop machine learning models for human biology.

Genefitletics' Mission

Genefitletics' mission is to bridge the gap between scientific advancements and human health by working on breakthrough discoveries in microbial science. The company's platform, PROTEBA, works at the convergence of microbial sequencing, artificial intelligence, and scientific research to develop a pipeline of consumer health solutions, precision diagnostics, and precision biotherapeutics to promote better health and longevity.

Founder and CEO of Genefitletics, Sushant Kumar, believes that the healthcare system focuses on suppressing the immune system rather than finding the root cause of the disease. He believes that microbes hold the key to the future of human health and longevity. For over 200 years, the medical industry has tried to eradicate microbes, assuming that they are harmful to human health. However, recent research has found that microbes living on and within humans can protect, save, and restore human health.

Genefitletics' Plans for the Future

Genefitletics plans to use the funds raised to further develop its suite of oral microbiome and human genes expression tests. The company will also launch its own brand of precision biotics. The funds will also be used to further develop machine learning models for human biology, to decode the root cause of poor health. With this understanding of the invisible army of microbes living on and within humans, Genefitletics seeks to protect, save, and restore human health.

Incubation & Bootcamp Program

The healthtech startup Genefitletics was incubated at the IIM Udaipur Incubation Center and is also part of Leap to Unicorn bootcamp program. The bootcamp is an initiative by IDFC FIRST Bank, in association with Money Control and CNBCTV18.
