India's Tech Startups Get a Boost: LEAP AHEAD Returns for Round Two

The first edition of LEAP AHEAD proved to be a resounding success. Through a series of summits held in major cities across India – Delhi, Vijayawada, Chandigarh, and Bhubaneswar – the program engaged over 1,400 attendees, including aspiring entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and investors. More than 100 speakers shared their expertise, and over 55 investors actively sought out promising ventures.

But the impact went far beyond networking and exposure. LEAP AHEAD selected 87 high-potential tech startups for a rigorous 3-month mentorship program. This intensive program, delivered by 60+ mentors comprising accomplished industry figures and startup founders, provided over 40 hours of guidance on critical areas such as:

• Customer Adoption: Strategies for acquiring and retaining customers.
• Business Models: Exploring and implementing effective revenue generation models.
• Financial Management: Mastering financial planning, budgeting, and fundraising.
• Go-to-Market Strategies: Developing effective launch and marketing plans.
• IP & ESG: Understanding intellectual property rights and environmental, social, and governance factors.
• Team Building: Building and managing high-performing teams.
• Marketing and Fundraising: Crafting compelling narratives and securing investments.

The results were impressive:

• Participating startups secured a total of INR 78.61 Crores in funding commitments from various investors.
• 17 startups have already received INR 38.38 Crores in funding.
• 3 startups garnered interest from global investors, demonstrating the program's ability to connect Indian startups with international opportunities.

Launched at the prestigious India Mobile Congress in New Delhi, LEAP AHEAD 2.0 aims to build on this success and further accelerate the growth of tech startups across India. This edition places a special emphasis on empowering startups in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, ensuring that entrepreneurial spirit thrives throughout the country.
